Update to Our EMC Training Programme – New Structure and Upcoming Dates

Over the past year, we have been running our EMC training courses and gathering valuable feedback from delegates across a range of industries. Based on this experience, we have made an important update to our training structure to better support design engineers in developing practical EMC skills.

Why We Made the Change

Traditionally, we offered a 3-day EMC design course covering a wide range of topics. While comprehensive, we found that many engineers were looking for a more practical and focused learning experience, particularly when it comes to troubleshooting real EMC issues.

In response, we have restructured our training into two dedicated 2-day courses:

  • 2-Day EMC Pre-Compliance Testing & Troubleshooting Course

A highly practical, hands-on course where delegates work in small groups to perform real EMC experiments, measure emissions and immunity, and troubleshoot typical failure scenarios.

  • 2-Day EMC Design Course

A follow-on course focused on helping engineers design products that meet EMC requirements from the outset, covering PCB design, grounding, filtering, and system-level considerations.

This new structure allows delegates to:

  • Focus on the areas most relevant to their role

  • Build practical troubleshooting skills first

  • Then progress to design techniques to prevent future issues

For those looking for a complete learning experience, the two courses can be combined into a 4-day training pathway, covering both troubleshooting and design.

Strong Demand for Hands-On Training

We are pleased to see that the new format has been very well received.

The June 2-day EMC Troubleshooting course is now fully booked, reflecting the growing demand for practical, hands-on EMC training delivered in a real test environment.

Upcoming Training Dates

  • July – 2-Day EMC Design Course

  • Early September (planned) – Next 2-Day EMC Troubleshooting Course

Further details and booking information will be published on our website shortly.

Looking Ahead

Our aim is to provide training that is not only technically rigorous, but also directly applicable to real engineering challenges. By combining hands-on testing with practical design guidance, we help engineers both solve EMC problems and prevent them in future designs.

If you are interested in attending an upcoming course or would like to discuss tailored training for your team, please feel free to get in touch.
